Fartura FC's Léo Mello got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Castel FC's Cauan Meirelles played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Léo Mello in the 26th minute of play. If Walmyr Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alexsandro Paraíba's late challenge caught a Fartura FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alexsandro Paraíba helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Fartura FC booed when Castel FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Castel FC's Cauan Meirelles proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Castel FC from getting a goal against them. Cauan Meirelles made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Walmyr Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. If Walmyr Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cauan Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Léo Mello in the 39th minute of the match. In the 46th minute, Chicão Senna had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Walmyr Ortiz was the one to do the kick off. In the 54th minute, Walmyr Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 55 minutes into the game, Rubens Marques was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Castel FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Fartura FC the free kick. After 55 played minutes Castel FC got a freekick which was hit by Rubens Marques. After having played for 58 minutes, Walmyr Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fartura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Walmyr Ortiz was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 61 minutes, Jardel Botelho mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Castel FC and the Fartura FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 61st match minute, Castel FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jardel Botelho to maneuver through the defense. Cauan Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmyr Ortiz in the 63rd minute of play. Alfredinho da Rocha hit a great freekick 68 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Natã Borges got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cauan Meirelles showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Walmyr Ortiz in the 73rd minute of the match. Walmyr Ortiz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marquinhos da Rocha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Enio Lucas's shot from short distance in the 80th minute. Enio Lucas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Marquinhos da Rocha having to make a save. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fartura FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos da Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 87 minutes, Léo Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fartura FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Léo Mello was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Walmyr Ortiz took the ball and in the 89 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cauan Meirelles. Cauan Meirelles dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. In the 94th minute the ball was on its way in behind Fartura FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos da Rocha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 96 minutes into the match, Fartura FC's goalkeeper Marquinhos da Rocha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Enio Lucas. Enio Lucas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marquinhos da Rocha having to interfere. There was no doubt that Fartura FC were the better team. Fartura FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
