Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gil Souto got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Luiz Guilherme Botelho ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dadá Nogueira was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Guilherme Botelho in the 13th minute of play forced Itapui's goalkeeper Dadá Nogueira to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pedro Augusto Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Remo Cruz having to interfere. Remo Cruz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pedro Augusto Prestes in the 20th minute. The supporters of Itapui booed when Itatiaiussu was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hélder Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. Hélder Penha hit a great freekick 22 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Itapui's Rubinho Alvarenga tried to score from far away in the 23rd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Falcão Moreno sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Dadá Nogueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gil Souto's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. After 32 played minutes Itatiaiussu got a freekick which was hit by Hélder Penha. Itapui's Dadá Nogueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luiz Guilherme Botelho in the 38th minute of play. After 42 minutes, Gil Souto made it 1-2 with a short kick to the right side. Itapui's Dadá Nogueira tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After 46 played minutes Itatiaiussu got a freekick which was hit by Gil Souto. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Falcão Moreno stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Remo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Falcão Moreno in the 59th minute of play. Luiz Guilherme Botelho could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 64th minute of the match, but Dadá Nogueira made a huge save. Luisinho Cardoso hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. Pedro Augusto Prestes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ian Vander kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. Luiz Guilherme Botelho struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Dadá Nogueira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Itatiaiussu. Dadá Nogueira made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luiz Guilherme Botelho in the 81st minute. Clemente Negri hit a great freekick 82 minutes into the match. Remo Cruz made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pedro Augusto Prestes in the 88th minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Itatiaiussu's goal looked a bit too open when Falcão Moreno came free, but Remo Cruz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Itatiaiussu players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
