Abaiara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chicão Veiga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aleandro Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rubens de Sena in the 27th minute of play. Edu Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Chicão Veiga, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Rubens de Sena's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 80thth minute, Aleandro Santana skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. 81 minutes into the match, Abaiara's goal looked a bit too open when Lenílson de Medeiros came free, but Aleandro Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 84th minute, Tapajos EC's Lenílson de Medeiros dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 4-1.
