Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hílton Breckenfeld kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, Banunal SS's Hílton Breckenfeld sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aleandro Santana narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 11 played minutes, Abaiara's Eliézer Penha shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Luizão Maciel came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Abaiara reached it. When Chicão Veiga came up free with the goalie in the 12th minute, the Abaiara fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chicão Veiga couldn't finish the play. Luizão Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Veiga in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute, Luiz Gustavo Paiva hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 24th minute, Ramiro das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victor de Lara kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Chicão Veiga in the 33rd minute of play forced Banunal SS's goalkeeper Luizão Maciel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Aleandro Santana made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Breckenfeld in the 35th minute of play. The supporters of Banunal SS booed when Abaiara was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Haroldo Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Túlio Pombal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Maciel having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Chicão Veiga to strike the kick off in the second half. Chicão Veiga's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 56th minute of play. Aleandro Santana came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Banunal SS's Wilton da Costa. But to his dismay, Wilton da Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Wilton da Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Aleandro Santana tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Abaiara's goal looked a bit too open when Hílton Breckenfeld came free, but Aleandro Santana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aleandro Santana came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Banunal SS's Hílton Breckenfeld. But to his dismay, Hílton Breckenfeld quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. In the 71st minute of the match Sebastião Amorim shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Luizão Maciel showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. The supporters of Abaiara booed when Banunal SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luiz Gustavo Paiva didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Chicão Veiga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 76th minute, Abaiara's Túlio Pombal dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. After some careless play in the Abaiara defense, Wilton da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Aleandro Santana. The Abaiara fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Aleandro Santana should have stopped the shot. Hílton Breckenfeld recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luizão Maciel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chicão Veiga in the 86th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Túlio Pombal got free with Luizão Maciel in the 89th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chicão Veiga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Luizão Maciel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th minute, Luiz Paulo Pirani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maurício Terra came free in the 98th minute and tried to tip the ball over Luizão Maciel, but to the joy of Banunal SS's supporters the ball hit the crossbar and out.
