Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Hílton Breckenfeld took the kick off in the first half of the match. If Rubens de Sena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Rubens de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 9th minute, the Tapajos EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rubens de Sena couldn't finish the play. Banunal SS's Luizão Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lenílson de Medeiros in the 10th minute of play. Rubens de Sena hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 15 minutes into the game, Hílton Breckenfeld was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Banunal SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tapajos EC the free kick. After some careless play in the Tapajos EC defense, Wilton da Costa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edu Valle. The Tapajos EC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edu Valle should have stopped the shot. Hílton Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ulisses Zonta kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Clemente Marquez kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. With his leg Luizão Maciel managed to avoid a goal in the 33rdth minute, when Tapajos EC's Lenílson de Medeiros fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Laércio Penha during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Banunal SS got a freekick which was hit by Laércio Penha. Rubens de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 43rd minute of play. The audience was convinced that Wilton da Costa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Edu Valle was relentless in the 47th minute of the game. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 52nd minute of the match, Hílton Breckenfeld tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Edu Valle saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Rubens de Sena's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Luizão Maciel read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. After 54 minutes of play, Tapajos EC's Rubens de Sena made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Luizão Maciel was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Lenílson de Medeiros had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Banunal SS's Luizão Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens de Sena in the 64th minute of play. When Rubens de Sena came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Tapajos EC fans jumped to their feet. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 70 minutes into the match, Tapajos EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz de Amaral came free, but Edu Valle reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Banunal SS's Luizão Maciel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubens de Sena in the 73rd minute of play. When Luiz de Amaral fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Banunal SS's protests and gave Luiz de Amaral a yellow card for diving instead. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Banunal SS! In the 78th minute there was a penalty for Tapajos EC. Giovanni Mota stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luizão Maciel. 2-1. Lenílson de Medeiros scored 3-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Luizão Maciel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Lenílson de Medeiros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luizão Maciel having to interfere. Hílton Breckenfeld sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Tapajos EC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Banunal SS had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
