If Silas Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elder Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 14 played minutes Tapecu SS got a freekick which was hit by Edson Amaral. After a rather tough play, Manacapuru AD's Aleandro Veiga got a free kick in the 17th minute. Felippe Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kléberson Donato in the 24th minute of play. If Diamantino Quirino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tapecu SS's Frederico Botelho played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas Ramos in the 30th minute of play. 33 minutes into the match, Tapecu SS's goal looked a bit too open when Diamantino Quirino came free, but Frederico Botelho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Silas Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Manacapuru AD getting a freekick after 40 minutes play. Silas Ramos hit a great ball. Kléberson Donato received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Felippe Matos came out and tried to block the shot, but Kléberson Donato slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 41st minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Tapecu SS's Kléberson Donato slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Felippe Matos. That made the score 2-1 after 47 minutes of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Diamantino Quirino made the kick off in the second half. If Silas Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th minute Kléberson Donato shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Matos saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Diamantino Quirino might have been able to make a better finish in the 77th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frederico Botelho. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Diamantino Quirino ran back to his position shaking his head. After 84 minutes, Edson Amaral mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tapecu SS and the Manacapuru AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Elder Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Felippe Matos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Manacapuru AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Murilo Tande to maneuver through the defense. Kléberson Donato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felippe Matos having to interfere. Frederico Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Silas Ramos went, in the 94th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Frederico Botelho was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Diamantino Quirino showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-3 in the 98 minute of play.
