Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Celso de Azevedo started the match with the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cambota's Gilson Cerezo got a free kick in the 2nd minute. Alfredo's Donatello Reis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Varela in the 20th minute of play. The supporters of Cambota booed when Alfredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kaká Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. 24 minutes into the match, Cambota's goal looked a bit too open when Daniel Carneiro came free, but Robinho Macedo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Robinho Macedo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Celso de Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. When Alexandre Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Cambota fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alexandre Azevedo couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Cambota getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Gilson Cerezo hit a great ball. In the 35th minute, Marcelinho Nóbrega sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Cambota's Robinho Macedo didn't even have to move. Gilson Cerezo hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for José Varela to strike the kick off in the second half. Rodolfo Esteves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alexandre Azevedo took the ball and in the 63 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Donatello Reis. Donatello Reis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Daniel Carneiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Celso de Azevedo in the 70th minute of play forced Cambota's goalkeeper Robinho Macedo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alberto Gomes came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the Alfredo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alberto Gomes couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Cambota booed when Alfredo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Doriva Cabral didn't get a good kick on the ball. 83 minutes into the match, Cambota's Osmar Bittencourt broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Cambota's Alexandre Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 89 minutes into the match, Alfredo's goal looked a bit too open when Alexandre Azevedo came free, but Donatello Reis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 91 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Alfredo! The referee gave Cambota a penalty, 93 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Osmar Bittencourt, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Alfredo's Donatello Reis. 2-0. In the 97th minute Doriva Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robinho Macedo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Celso de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 100th minute. Robinho Macedo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cambota were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Alfredo for a fine match.
