Teresa SC's Dalmo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Lopes in the 3rd minute of play. 5 minutes into the game, Teresa SC's Célio Tande nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Joaquim Velloso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. In the 10th minute Thomás Vinhas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Gernando Cavalcante might have been able to make a better finish in the 12th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dalmo Lima. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gernando Cavalcante ran back to his position shaking his head. Dalmo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rubinho Lopes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Joaquim Velloso made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Thomás Vinhas in the 16th minute of play. The supporters of Ramona FC booed when Teresa SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Maria Gonçalves didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Ramona FC getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Martins hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Teresa SC's goal looked a bit too open when Gernando Cavalcante came free, but Dalmo Lima reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 29thth minute of the game Gernando Cavalcante who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Teresa SC's Dalmo Lima was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Thomás Vinhas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 40th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Joaquim Velloso made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Ian Vidal sent off a good shot on target. When Ramona FC's Gernando Cavalcante in the 45th minute got a chance for a shot 45th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Teresa SC's goalie prevented a goal. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rubinho Lopes was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute, Célio Tande got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After having played for 59 minutes, Ian Vidal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teresa SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ian Vidal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 68 played minutes Teresa SC got a freekick which was hit by Célio Tande. Rubinho Lopes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Dalmo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gernando Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dalmo Lima having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rubinho Lopes in the 73rd minute of play forced Teresa SC's goalkeeper Dalmo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Teresa SC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. 98 minutes into the match, Thomás Vinhas had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Joaquim Velloso. Ramona FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Thomás Vinhas was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-0.
