In the 3rd minute, Luiz Fernando Martins hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute, Tiago Gabriel Dantas got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The audience was convinced that Tiago Gabriel Dantas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Joaquim Velloso was relentless in the 9th minute of the game. Juquia's Hamílton Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Lopes in the 27th minute of play. After having played for 30 minutes, Tiago Gabriel Dantas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Juquia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tiago Gabriel Dantas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a defensive mix-up in Ramona FC's zone, Tiago Gabriel Dantas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Velloso came out of the goal and Tiago Gabriel Dantas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benê Quadros charged in rather forcefully in the 34th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benê Quadros the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 35 minutes into the match, Juquia's Lenílson Penha broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tiago Gabriel Dantas in the 37th minute of play forced Ramona FC's goalkeeper Joaquim Velloso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd match minute, Juquia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edinho Cunha to maneuver through the defense. In the 47th minute Tiago Gabriel Dantas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joaquim Velloso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
