In the 4th minute, Leonardo Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alfredão Moreno made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Silvinho Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. Gado's João Adolfo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Correia in the 6th minute of play. Alfredão Moreno showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Silvinho Paraíba in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the match, Evaristo Teles dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Alfredão Moreno, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elias Correia in the 14th minute of play forced Gado's goalkeeper João Adolfo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Evaristo Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Celso Borges hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. João Adolfo Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elias Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonardo Britto was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 22 minutes had been played. In the 23rd minute, Leonardo Britto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Silvinho Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alfredão Moreno having to make a save. If Dito Bezerra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Evaristo Teles was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 30th minute. Gado's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Edson Bezerra hit a great freekick 35 minutes into the match. In the 38th minute, Silvinho Paraíba got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 43 played minutes Talarem SS got a freekick which was hit by Elias Correia. In the 46th minute Gado were awarded a corner. Víktor Galvão went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner led Gado's Víktor Galvão to fire away a dangerous shot which Alfredão Moreno despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The wind increased when Evaristo Teles made the kick off in the second half. Alfredão Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. In the 58th minute, Dito Bezerra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Gado's João Adolfo Lima played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Joélson Garcia in the 65th minute of play. Alfredão Moreno showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. Dito Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. João Adolfo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Talarem SS's Alfredão Moreno played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvinho Paraíba in the 80th minute of play. The supporters of Gado booed when Talarem SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elias Correia didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the game, Gado's Silvinho Paraíba nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Alfredão Moreno made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Gado were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
