Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Evaristo Teles started the match with the kick off. After 2 played minutes Abertao EC got a freekick which was hit by Percival Neiva. Falcão Veiga made a fantastic save in the 5th minute, when Silvinho Paraíba sent off a good shot on target. Silvinho Paraíbas short, quick shot in the 7thth minute got Falcão Veiga to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When Orlando Arce fell near the penalty area in the 7th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Abertao EC's protests and gave Orlando Arce a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Abertao EC getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Orlando Arce hit a great ball. In the 14th minute, Ezequiel Luz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Falcão Veiga having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Luz in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck João Adolfo Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Falcão Veiga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 35 minutes had been played when some careless play by Gado's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Joaquim Arce was slow to take the kick. During this time Abertao EC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Joaquim Arce got away a dangerous shot. Despite this João Adolfo Lima quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 40th minute, Evaristo Teles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Falcão Veiga was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ezequiel Luz made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Abertao EC's zone, Silvinho Paraíba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Falcão Veiga came out of the goal and Silvinho Paraíba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Abertao EC's Percival Neiva sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that João Adolfo Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 67th match minute, Abertao EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Joaquim Arce to maneuver through the defense. Víktor Galvão was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 68th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Ezequiel Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. João Adolfo Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74th play minutes Percival Neiva shot 2-1, a short shot which went by João Adolfo Lima and just under the crossbar into goal. Silvinho Paraíba sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Falcão Veiga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Evaristo Teles in the 80th minute of play. In the 91st minute, Beto Massa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 94 minutes into the match, Abertao EC's goal looked a bit too open when Evaristo Teles came free, but Falcão Veiga reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
