Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the game, Ramón de Brito recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tostão Favoretto. Ramón de Brito showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Olívio Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eduardo do Nascimento took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nilton Luz, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cláudio Dante received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 16th minute. Tostão Favoretto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 2-0 became the score in the 20th minute when Olívio Alvarenga elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Alvellos's zone, Ramón de Brito stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tostão Favoretto came out of the goal and Ramón de Brito tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 29th minute, Olívio Alvarenga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Tony Monteiro fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Alvellos's protests and gave Tony Monteiro a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd match minute, Alvellos was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tony Monteiro to maneuver through the defense. 35 minutes in the game Iuri de Azevedo after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Tostão Favoretto. A very good opportunity. Cláudio Dante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Quincos SC's Eduardo do Nascimento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nilton Luz in the 39th minute of play. Eduardo do Nascimento stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ricardo Palmeira's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

After 53 minutes of play, Quincos SC's Cláudio Dante made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tostão Favoretto was left in no man's land by his defense there! Alvellos's Tostão Favoretto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Olívio Alvarenga in the 63rd minute of play. Edvaldo Queiroz charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Edvaldo Queiroz the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Quincos SC booed when Alvellos was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edvaldo Queiroz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Valdomiro Mota was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 67th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Tostão Favoretto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olívio Alvarenga, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Hílton Pombal charged in rather forcefully in the 78th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hílton Pombal the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 79th minute, Valdomiro Mota sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Alvellos's Tostão Favoretto didn't even have to move. After some careless play in the Alvellos defense, Olívio Alvarenga kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tostão Favoretto. The Alvellos fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tostão Favoretto should have stopped the shot. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cláudio Dante in the 87th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Tostão Favoretto saved Alvellos from getting behind.
