The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Zanette got free with Paulo Renato Novaes in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Anísio Fernandez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 97th minute of the match, but Paulo Renato Novaes made a huge save. Atauba's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
