In the 9thth minute of the game Franklin Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Antas AD's Thiago Novaes was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Panati SS's goalkeeper Oswaldo Lara, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Antas AD's Rafa Meira slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Oswaldo Lara. That made the score 1-0 after 13 minutes of play. A collision led to Antas AD getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Rafa Meira hit a great ball. Thiago Novaes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Douglas Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Samuel Lara's late challenge caught a Panati SS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Samuel Lara helped the player get up and apologised. Samuel Lara hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. Douglas Penha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Rafa Meira stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Paulo Renato Maia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Oswaldo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Maurinho Couto hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Panati SS's zone, Rafa Meira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Lara came out of the goal and Rafa Meira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Franklin Soares could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Thiago Novaes made a huge save. In the 73rd minute, Chico Vianna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 74 minutes into the match, Antas AD's Rafa Meira sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Oswaldo Lara narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Antas AD's Thiago Novaes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save Antas AD from getting a goal against them. With a left leg Oswaldo Lara saved Panati SS from getting behind. Antas AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
