In the 17th minute Franklin Soares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duda Guedes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Oswaldo Lara made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jerônimo Pinheiro in the 27th minute of play. 29 minutes into the match, Benê da Mata dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Oswaldo Lara, 1-0. The supporters of Panati SS booed when Segredo SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anderson Nascimento didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jerônimo Pinheiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Oswaldo Lara tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Filipe Linares hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Panati SS's Maurinho Couto tried to score from far away in the 40th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Segredo SS's Duda Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Douglas Penha in the 42nd minute of play. When Franklin Soares came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Panati SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Franklin Soares couldn't finish the play. Duda Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Douglas Penha, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Duda Guedes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Franklin Soares in the 48th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jerônimo Pinheiro to make the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Panati SS's zone, Jerônimo Pinheiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Oswaldo Lara came out of the goal and Jerônimo Pinheiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Duda Guedes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Franklin Soares in the 66th minute. Segredo SS's Duda Guedes proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 70th minute of the match, managed to save Segredo SS from getting a goal against them. Anderson Nascimento charged in rather forcefully in the 74th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Anderson Nascimento the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 74th minute, Anderson Nascimento hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Franklin Soares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Segredo SS's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
