Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Gilson Velasco got the match started through his kick off. After 5 played minutes, Taborda's Victor Veiga shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Sandrinho Galvão came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Taborda reached it. After a rather tough play, Tupuio SS's Cássio Goiano got a free kick in the 7th minute. Sandrinho Galvão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eriberto de Medeiros in the 8th minute of the match. In the 10th minute, Adrianinho Correia made a precise shot to the right of Ronaldinho Britto. Taborda's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Eriberto de Medeiros managed to get in a good position for a shot. Taborda's supporters rose to their feet, but Eriberto de Medeiros was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sandrinho Galvão breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Breno Borges charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno Borges the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A hard shot 23 in the game by Adrianinho Correia from a close distance when the talented Ronaldinho Britto managed to make a qualified save. Taborda's players were relieved. Taborda's Ronaldinho Britto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 26th minute of the match, managed to save Taborda from getting a goal against them. Gilson Velasco was extremely unlucky when he, in the 27th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Ronaldinho Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilson Velasco in the 30th minute of the match. Eriberto de Medeiros received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Sandrinho Galvão tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Duda Furtado hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sandrinho Galvão made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elano Mota in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eriberto de Medeiros in the 43rd minute of play forced Tupuio SS's goalkeeper Sandrinho Galvão to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 47th minute, Gilson Velasco fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. Ronaldinho Britto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho Correia in the 48th minute of the match. 48 minutes into the game, Tupuio SS's Adrianinho Correia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ronaldinho Britto made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Elano Mota to make the kick off. Benedito Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Ronaldinho Britto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Adrianinho Correia, who was totally free with the ball in the 61st minute. Adrianinho Correia took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ronaldinho Britto. Ronaldinho Britto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 4-0. 64 minutes into the game, Pedro Luiz Paranaense was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tupuio SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taborda the free kick. After 65 played minutes Tupuio SS got a freekick which was hit by Pedro Luiz Paranaense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gilson Velasco in the 68th minute of play forced Taborda's goalkeeper Ronaldinho Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 69 minutes into the match, Taborda's goal looked a bit too open when Gilson Velasco came free, but Ronaldinho Britto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taborda's Benedito Dantas got a free kick in the 72nd minute. In the 83rd match minute, Tupuio SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nelsinho Lara to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, Tupuio SS's Sandrinho Galvão got control of the ball when Eriberto de Medeiros tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronaldinho Britto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrianinho Correia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Benedito Dantas charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Benedito Dantas the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Tupuio SS booed when Taborda was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benedito Dantas didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 93 minutes, Adrianinho Correia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupuio SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adrianinho Correia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 97th match minute, Tupuio SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luizão de Medeiros to maneuver through the defense. Eriberto de Medeiros recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 99th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Taborda's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
