Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Tiago Perez started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Ricardo Cabral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yuri Vidal having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tiago Perez in the 7th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Yuri Vidal saved Araticum from getting behind. In the 7th match minute, Araticum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Doni Freitas to maneuver through the defense. If Ricardo Cabral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 8th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 10th minute, Tiago Perez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Clemente Linares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Natanael Queirós read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 15th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Araticum's Clemente Linares slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Natanael Queirós. That made the score 1-1 after 18 minutes of play. The supporters of Araticum booed when Mariseira EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Umberto Cearense didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Tiago Perez in the 25th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Yuri Vidal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Araticum getting a freekick after 26 minutes play. Renatinho Trigo hit a great ball. In the 27th minute Ricardo Cabral shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yuri Vidal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tiago Perez hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. Edmundo Arantes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Natanael Queirós tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mariseira EC's Tiago Perez got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Clemente Linares made the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Clemente Linares managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Araticum's supporters crossed their fingers, but Clemente Linares was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes Araticum got a freekick which was hit by Renatinho Trigo. In the 56th minute, Tony Andrade hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Doni Freitas during the 58th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Doni Freitas hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Clemente Linares recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Yuri Vidal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiago Perez in the 69th minute of the match. 71 minutes into the match, Mariseira EC's goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Linares came free, but Natanael Queirós reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Araticum's Renatinho Trigo got his second yellow card of the match in the 74th minute. The referee ordered Renatinho Trigo off the ground. Yuri Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tiago Perez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Cabral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clemente Linares's late challenge caught a Mariseira EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Clemente Linares helped the player get up and apologised. Clemente Linares kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Ricardo Cabral could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Yuri Vidal made a huge save. Tiago Perez's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yuri Vidal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 92nd minute of play. Américo Lucas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 97th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Natanael Queirós. Mariseira EC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The Araticum supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Mariseira EC's performance. The match ended with a win for Mariseira EC.
