Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Eremetu EC's Ediberto da Costa started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 2 minutes into the match, Eremetu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando de Queirós came free, but João Pedro Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Fernando de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 9 minutes, Paulo Renato Pires mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eremetu EC and the Cujubim FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 9th minute, Paulo Renato Pires hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Cujubim FC booed when Eremetu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 18 match minutes in a wonderful position. Paulo Renato Pires didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 played minutes, Cujubim FC's Emerson Magalhães shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Pedro Donato came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Cujubim FC reached it. With a little luck, Eremetu EC's João Pedro Donato got control of the ball when Gilberto Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 24th minute, Luiz Fernando de Queirós fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. After a defensive mix-up in Eremetu EC's zone, Luiz Fernando de Queirós stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. João Pedro Donato came out of the goal and Luiz Fernando de Queirós tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, Eremetu EC's João Pedro Donato got control of the ball when Gilberto Luz tried to sneak it across the goal line. Cujubim FC's Luiz Fernando de Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Gilberto Luz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Donato having to interfere. João Pedro Donato made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Gilberto Luz sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Gilberto Luz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cujubim FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Gilberto Luz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 46th minute, Luiz Fernando de Queirós reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of João Pedro Donato. The goal made the score 1-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Luiz Fernando de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Luiz Fernando de Queirós shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 57 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eremetu EC! After a rather tough play, Eremetu EC's Paulo Renato Pires got a free kick in the 59th minute. Ediberto da Costa scored 1-1 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulysses de Carvalho, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 68 minutes into the match, Eremetu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Fernando de Queirós came free, but João Pedro Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ediberto da Costa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luiz Fernando de Queirós in the 75th minute of the match. João Pedro Donato took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Fernando de Queirós, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Pedro Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gilberto Luz, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. Gilberto Luz scored 2-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of João Pedro Donato, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. João Pedro Donato showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilberto Luz in the 84th minute of the match. Luiz Fernando de Queirós sent away a hard shot on goal in the 88th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 90th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eremetu EC's goalkeeper João Pedro Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luiz Fernando de Queirós recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Cujubim FC's Gilberto Luz got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Cujubim FC walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
