Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ediberto da Costa kicked off to start the match. João Pedro Donato stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clemente Linares's shot from short distance in the 4th minute. After 6 minutes, Carlos Alberto Abreu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Eremetu EC and the Araticum players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 6 played minutes Eremetu EC got a freekick which was hit by Carlos Alberto Abreu. Yuri Vidal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ediberto da Costa in the 10th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Edmundo Arantes managed to get in a good position for a shot. Araticum's supporters rose to their feet, but Edmundo Arantes was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Donato breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After having played for 22 minutes, Américo Mota managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Eremetu EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Américo Mota was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 24 minutes into the match, Eremetu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Edmundo Arantes came free, but João Pedro Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th match minute, Araticum was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renatinho Trigo to maneuver through the defense. João Pedro Donato made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clemente Linares in the 30th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Ediberto da Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Yuri Vidal. Araticum's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ediberto da Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. With a little luck, Araticum's Yuri Vidal got control of the ball when Américo Mota tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Clemente Linares's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but João Pedro Donato was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. 43 minutes into the game, Renatinho Trigo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Araticum's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eremetu EC the free kick. The supporters of Eremetu EC booed when Araticum was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Renatinho Trigo didn't get a good kick on the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Clemente Linares to make the kick off. Clemente Linares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 54 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Eremetu EC! Paulo Renato Pires's late challenge caught a Araticum's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Paulo Renato Pires helped the player get up and apologised. After 63 played minutes Eremetu EC got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Renato Pires. The crowd rose to their feet as Clemente Linares kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving João Pedro Donato. That made the score 2-2 in the 70 minute of play. Yuri Vidal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Américo Mota, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ediberto da Costa in the 75th minute of play forced Araticum's goalkeeper Yuri Vidal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edmundo Arantes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Donato having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Araticum's goal looked a bit too open when Ediberto da Costa came free, but Yuri Vidal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edmundo Arantes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but João Pedro Donato made a huge save. When Américo Mota came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Eremetu EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Américo Mota couldn't finish the play. 91 minutes into the game, Ediberto da Costa was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Eremetu EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Araticum the free kick. The supporters of Araticum booed when Eremetu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 92 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ediberto da Costa didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 95th minute, Ediberto da Costa ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Yuri Vidal was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2.
