Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Joaquim Hermes kicked off to start the match. Diogo Novaes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim Hermes in the 4th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Valoes AD's zone, Joaquim Hermes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Diogo Novaes came out of the goal and Joaquim Hermes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Joaquim Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Diogo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Digo Nogueira lost his temper 20 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. 19 minutes into the game, one of Valoes AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Beto de Medeiros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Róbson Ferraz made a huge save. Evaristo Dante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Rony Fantini kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. The supporters of Valoes AD booed when Jandiritiua AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 30 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aírton Secco didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 31st minute, Narciso de Toledo sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Jandiritiua AD's Róbson Ferraz didn't even have to move. In the 37th minute Abelardo Almeida shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Diogo Novaes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Joaquim Hermes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Diogo Novaes. Valoes AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquim Hermes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-3. Disappointed in the 0-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Beto de Medeiros to strike the kick off in the second half. If Abelardo Almeida had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Beto de Medeiros blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Róbson Ferraz having to make a save. Vitório Moraes charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vitório Moraes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vitório Moraes kicked well hit freekick during the 57th minute of the match. After 58 minutes, Beto de Medeiros made it 1-3 with a short kick to the right side. Jandiritiua AD's Róbson Ferraz tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Joaquim Hermes might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Diogo Novaes. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Joaquim Hermes ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Valoes AD's Diogo Novaes got control of the ball when Abelardo Almeida tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 66th match minute, Valoes AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sílvio Luís Rosado to maneuver through the defense. Joaquim Hermes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Diogo Novaes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Róbson Ferraz was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. The Jandiritiua AD supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Jandiritiua AD would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
