The supporters of Jacarepagua SC booed when Literlade was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tales Nunes didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 84th minute, Sidney Monteiro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Caio Monteiro was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ricardo Mesquita managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jacarepagua SC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ricardo Mesquita was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Durval Santos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Caio Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Tales Nunes, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. Literlade's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
