Ronaldão Viana showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Márcio Paiva, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With an all-out effort, Marialva AD's Geraldo Seco threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Raimundo Madureira, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Madureira in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Geraldo Seco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Márcio Paiva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rodriguinho Bezerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Bezerra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Geraldo Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Geraldo Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Raimundo Madureira, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Rodriguinho Bezerra's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Geraldo Seco read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. In the 56th minute Arnaldo Ramos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ronaldão Viana saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the match, Marialva AD's goal looked a bit too open when Márcio Paiva came free, but Ronaldão Viana reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geraldo Seco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Madureira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 64 minutes into the game, Claudinei Schmidt was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguaraci SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marialva AD the free kick. In the 64th minute, Claudinei Schmidt hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Marialva AD's Ronaldão Viana proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Marialva AD from getting a goal against them. When Márcio Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Jaguaraci SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Márcio Paiva couldn't finish the play. When Claudinei Schmidt was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 74 minutes had been played. After a rather tough play, Jaguaraci SS's Claudinei Schmidt got a free kick in the 75th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Madureira in the 76th minute of play forced Jaguaraci SS's goalkeeper Geraldo Seco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th minute, Lucas Mandrak got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Arnaldo Ramos scored 1-1 in the 80th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ronaldão Viana, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the game, Marquinhos de Souza was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jaguaraci SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marialva AD the free kick. In the 84th minute, Marquinhos de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Marialva AD's zone, Arnaldo Ramos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ronaldão Viana came out of the goal and Arnaldo Ramos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Arnaldo Ramos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jaguaraci SS were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Marialva AD to leave the ground with a draw.
