Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vito Loureiro got the match started through his kick off. Cristian Cardoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 5th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orlando Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 6th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orlando Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. 7 minutes into the match, Pirat's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Leite had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Wágner Paraíba. Cristian Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Leite having to interfere. The supporters of Pirat booed when Morcego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Erik Borges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Vito Loureiro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Delfim Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Sydney Zilles came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Pirat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Zilles couldn't finish the play. Delfim Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Loureiro in the 24th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Pirat's Sydney Zilles sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Delfim Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Cristian Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tibúrcio Leite having to interfere. In the 38th minute, Rui Montenegro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Tibúrcio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cristian Cardoso in the 40th minute of play. The Morcego players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Pirat were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristian Cardoso to make the kick off. In the 51st minute, Nilton Quaresma hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Cardoso in the 53rd minute of play forced Pirat's goalkeeper Tibúrcio Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tibúrcio Leite prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Sydney Zilles came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Pirat fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sydney Zilles couldn't finish the play. If Cristian Cardoso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Morcego's Cristian Cardoso in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pirat's goalie prevented a goal. Wágner Paraíba blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tibúrcio Leite having to make a save. When Orlando Mazza was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 78 minutes had been played. In the 79th match minute, Pirat was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orlando Mazza to maneuver through the defense. Tibúrcio Gonçalves took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 80th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Tibúrcio Leite. Pirat's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Tibúrcio Leite made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wágner Paraíba in the 96th minute of play. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Pirat eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
