The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Morcego. Morcego's Delfim Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cícero de Queirós in the 9th minute of play. If Wágner Paraíba had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Wágner Paraíba managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morcego's supporters rose to their feet, but Wágner Paraíba was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nildo Mattos breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Cristian Cardoso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nildo Mattos having to interfere. 28 minutes into the game, Durval Hermes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tuyuty SC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Morcego the free kick. Durval Hermes kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. Cristian Cardoso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Nildo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cristian Cardoso sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cícero de Queirós received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Delfim Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nildo Mattos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Wágner Paraíba, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. Elivélton Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Delfim Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cícero de Queirós received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Delfim Seco came out and tried to block the shot, but Cícero de Queirós slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute. Tuyuty SC's Nildo Mattos played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cristian Cardoso in the 47th minute of play. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cícero de Queirós stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The corner led to Tuyuty SC's José Pedro Leme getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. A collision led to Morcego getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Wágner Paraíba hit a great ball. Nildo Mattos came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by Morcego's Wágner Paraíba. But to his dismay, Wágner Paraíba quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. 69 minutes into the match, Morcego's goal looked a bit too open when Elivélton Rossi came free, but Delfim Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Tuyuty SC booed when Morcego was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Moisés das Neves didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tuyuty SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Cristian Cardoso 76 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-2. After a rather tough play, Morcego's João Francisco de Sena got a free kick in the 78th minute. Delfim Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. Cícero de Queirós succeeded in the game's 90th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-2. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
