Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Cícero de Queirós started the match with the kick off. Tibúrcio Leite made an important save on a dangerous shot by Elivélton Rossi in the 10th minute. With a little luck, Pirat's Tibúrcio Leite got control of the ball when Elivélton Rossi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Tuyuty SC booed when Pirat was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rui Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Narciso Quaresma hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tuyuty SC's zone, Sydney Zilles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo Mattos came out of the goal and Sydney Zilles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Osvaldo Mesquita fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tuyuty SC's protests and gave Osvaldo Mesquita a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tuyuty SC's Osvaldo Mesquita got a free kick in the 26th minute. Nildo Mattos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Vito Loureiro's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. After 28 played minutes Tuyuty SC got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Mesquita. After a rather tough play, Tuyuty SC's Cícero Toscano got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Elivélton Rossi could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Tibúrcio Leite made a huge save. Orlando Mazza charged in rather forcefully in the 37th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Orlando Mazza the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Orlando Mazza kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Elivélton Rossi took the ball and in the 39 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tibúrcio Leite. Tibúrcio Leite dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. After a rather tough play, Pirat's Enio Ferraz got a free kick in the 43rd minute. Cícero de Queirós struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Tibúrcio Leite didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tuyuty SC. Elivélton Rossi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Tibúrcio Leite tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cícero de Queirós had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Vito Loureiro was the one to do the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Tuyuty SC's zone, Sydney Zilles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nildo Mattos came out of the goal and Sydney Zilles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. An unexpected shot in the 62nd minute by Sydney Zilles got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nildo Mattos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vito Loureiro in the 64th minute of play. Nildo Mattos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sydney Zilles in the 68th minute of the match. Tibúrcio Leite showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elivélton Rossi, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. Cícero Toscano kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. If Vito Loureiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Zilles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Nildo Mattos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Pirat were awarded a corner in the 98th minute after Tuyuty SC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Léo Cavalcante took the corner. Léo Cavalcante made a great header on Pirat's corner, it was just that Tuyuty SC's Nildo Mattos managed to reach the ball for a save. Pirat's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Tuyuty SC had won, even though Pirat had held more of the ball.
