Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Victor Novaes started the match with the kick off. 10 minutes in the game, Joel Amaral dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Eliseu Mendonça had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute, Eliseu Mendonça got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cachoera's goalkeeper Valdo Matos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Gerson Gomes hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Valdo Matos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Novaes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Valdo Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Novaes, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. If Victor Novaes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Lucas Lara charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucas Lara the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 40th minute there was a penalty for Caraguata SC. Marquinhos Baiano stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Valdo Matos. 1-0. When Eliseu Mendonça came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cachoera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eliseu Mendonça couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Gonçalo Paivas short, quick shot in the 54thth minute got Serginho Ferreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Waldir Vieira in the 57th minute of play forced Cachoera's goalkeeper Valdo Matos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Caraguata SC getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Waldir Vieira hit a great ball. Eliseu Mendonça recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valdo Matos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Novaes in the 66th minute of play. Eliseu Mendonça fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Serginho Ferreira having to interfere. Serginho Ferreira made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Gonçalo Paiva sent off a good shot on target. Serginho Ferreira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eliseu Mendonça, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Cachoera booed when Caraguata SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. César Matorin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cachoera's Lucas Lara got a good chance for a goal in the 74th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 78th minute, Waldir Vieira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valdo Matos showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Waldir Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After 93 played minutes, Caraguata SC's Marquinhos Baiano shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valdo Matos came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Caraguata SC reached it. Waldir Vieira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valdo Matos having to interfere. When Gonçalo Paiva came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Cachoera fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gonçalo Paiva couldn't finish the play.
