After a defensive mix-up in Piaus AD's zone, Breno Pinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Custódio do Valle came out of the goal and Breno Pinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 7 minutes into the game, Juninho Velloso was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Piaus AD's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Londrina SC the free kick. In the 14th minute, Gustavo Soeiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Custódio do Valle showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Breno Pinho in the 15th minute of the match. Custódio do Valle showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Breno Pinho, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Dráuzio Negri fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Londrina SC's protests and gave Dráuzio Negri a yellow card for diving instead. Dráuzio Negri hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Agostinho Eger rounded Londrina SC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-0. When Breno Pinho came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Londrina SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Breno Pinho couldn't finish the play. Túlio Prestes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio do Valle having to interfere. During the 34th minute of the match Dráuzio Negri completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Dráuzio Negri a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. After 38 minutes of play, Londrina SC's Breno Pinho made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Custódio do Valle was left in no man's land by his defense there! Gustavo Soeiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

Gustavo Soeiro struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Gláuber Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piaus AD. In the 68th match minute, Londrina SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Remo de Almeida to maneuver through the defense. In the 70th minute Agostinho Eger shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Agostinho Eger kicked well hit freekick during the 84th minute of the match. In the 92nd minute, Gustavo Soeiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Agostinho Eger struck a weak shot in the 99th minute. Gláuber Ortiz didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piaus AD. For all the effort they put into the match, the Londrina SC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Piaus AD.
