Benedito Vides took the ball and in the 7 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wellington Gonçalves. Wellington Gonçalves dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Délio Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Matías Motta, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alexandre de Carvalho's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Wellington Gonçalves read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 14th minute of play. A collision led to Capoeirana SC getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Vinícius Fantini hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Armandinho Senna during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Armandinho Senna hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After having played for 21 minutes, Matías Motta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Colatina SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Motta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telmo Azevedo kicked well hit freekick during the 28th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Fabiano Simão in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Gonçalves saved Colatina SC from getting behind. In the 34th minute, Romeu Torres fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Fabiano Simão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Wellington Gonçalves tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Colatina SC's Wellington Gonçalves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabiano Simão in the 45th minute of play. Fabiano Simão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wellington Gonçalves having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

After 52 minutes of play, Colatina SC's Matías Motta made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Délio Neves was left in no man's land by his defense there! 56 minutes into the match, Benedito Vides had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Wellington Gonçalves. Colatina SC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Benedito Vides was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Vides in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Gonçalves saved Colatina SC from getting behind. Luiz Gustavo Salgado might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Wellington Gonçalves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luiz Gustavo Salgado ran back to his position shaking his head. 67 minutes into the match, Capoeirana SC's Luiz Gustavo Salgado sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wellington Gonçalves narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Matías Motta got free with Délio Neves in the 69th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Délio Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeu Torres's shot from short distance in the 71st minute. A collision led to Colatina SC getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Telmo Azevedo hit a great ball. Benedito Vides sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Délio Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeu Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After some careless play in the Colatina SC defense, Fabiano Simão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Wellington Gonçalves. The Colatina SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Wellington Gonçalves should have stopped the shot. In the 85th minute, Fabiano Simão made a precise shot to the right of Wellington Gonçalves. Colatina SC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. 93 minutes into the match, Romeu Torres dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Délio Neves, 4-3. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Benedito Vides in the 96th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Wellington Gonçalves saved Colatina SC from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Capoeirana SC had won after a very even match.
