Duda Pereira made a fantastic save in the 27th minute, when Claudinho Nogueira sent off a good shot on target. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Elder Mello managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tebas's supporters rose to their feet, but Elder Mello was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Duda Pereira breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Hugo Tepedino to make the kick off. If Elder Mello had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Flavinho Andrade received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Matías Zanette tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 59 minutes, Carlos Ortiz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tebas and the Amapari players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Amapari booed when Tebas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Carlos Ortiz didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tebas's Matías Zanette proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Tebas from getting a goal against them. Matías Zanette made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hugo Tepedino in the 66th minute of play. Luiz Fabiano Nogueira's late challenge caught a Tebas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hugo Tepedino showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-1. A collision led to Amapari getting a freekick after 94 minutes play. Hugo Tepedino hit a great ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Amapari had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
