After some fancy dribbling in the 22nd minute, Flávio Cardoso managed to get in a good position for a shot. Milagres FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Flávio Cardoso was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gláuber Tinoco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Filipe Dantas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Gláuber Tinoco made a huge save. Décio Pernambucano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tadeu Alagoano having to interfere. The supporters of Itaccuce SS booed when Milagres FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Flávio Cardoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Yan Guedes, 33 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Décio Pernambucano made the kick off in the second half. Milagres FC's Duarte de Andrade got his second yellow card of the match in the 52nd minute. The referee ordered Duarte de Andrade off the ground. Filipe Dantas kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. If Filipe Dantas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Zé Vergílio got free with Tadeu Alagoano in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gláuber Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Itaccuce SS eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
