Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Durval Jacinto started the match with the kick off. After 9 minutes of play, Abobora AD's Yuri Lopes made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Elder da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! After a defensive mix-up in Abobora AD's zone, André Luís Varela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Raphael Fernandez came out of the goal and André Luís Varela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 14th minute, André Luís Varela left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Corocoro fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Corocoro's Elder da Rocha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Durval Jacinto in the 19th minute of play. After 22 played minutes Corocoro got a freekick which was hit by Andrézinho Maciel. Abobora AD's Cássio Britto couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Corocoro. In the 27th minute Diogo Nunes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Raphael Fernandez saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the game, Diogo Nunes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Raphael Fernandez was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Raphael Fernandez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from André Luís Varela in the 36th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cristiano Vasconcelos during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 37th minute, Cristiano Vasconcelos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raphael Fernandez showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Luís Varela, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. If Yuri Lopes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 44th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Diogo Nunes made a kick off. André Luís Varela fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Raphael Fernandez having to interfere. The supporters of Abobora AD booed when Corocoro was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 68 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fausto Simões didn't get a good kick on the ball. Elder da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Britto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Durval Jacinto in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Elder da Rocha saved Corocoro from getting behind. 80 minutes into the match, Durval Jacinto had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Elder da Rocha. Corocoro's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Durval Jacinto was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. In the 84th minute, André Luís Varela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Raphael Fernandez was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Luiz Fábio Zonta during the 90th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 90th match minute, Abobora AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luiz Fábio Zonta to maneuver through the defense. Fausto Simões made a great header on Corocoro's corner, it was just that Abobora AD's Raphael Fernandez managed to reach the ball for a save. The Abobora AD supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Corocoro's performance. The match ended with a win for Corocoro.
