Bezerrinha's Wanderson Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Passos in the 11th minute of play. Wanderson Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Juan Breckenfeld in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to Bezerrinha getting a freekick after 15 minutes play. Rony Batista hit a great ball. After having played for 17 minutes, José Paulo Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Parelheiros's supporters crossed their fingers, but José Paulo Passos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. João Francisco Baptista hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute, Luciano Messias sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Parelheiros's Jonas Breckenfeld didn't even have to move. Hugo Mello took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Wanderson Félix. Bezerrinha's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Armando Faustino's late challenge caught a Bezerrinha's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Armando Faustino helped the player get up and apologised. Armando Faustino hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Márcio Baianos short, quick shot in the 38thth minute got Jonas Breckenfeld to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Márcio Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Márcio Baiano fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonas Breckenfeld having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Márcio Baiano took the ball and in the 51 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Jonas Breckenfeld. Jonas Breckenfeld dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Jonas Breckenfeld came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Bezerrinha's Jorginho Veloso. But to his dismay, Jorginho Veloso quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. When José Paulo Passos came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Parelheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Paulo Passos couldn't finish the play. Wanderson Félix didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Juan Breckenfeld went, in the 64th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-2 was the resulting score. Jonas Breckenfeld took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Márcio Baiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bezerrinha's Wanderson Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by José Paulo Passos in the 77th minute of play. 79 minutes into the match, Bezerrinha's goal looked a bit too open when José Paulo Passos came free, but Wanderson Félix reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Magno Urbano in the 81st minute of play forced Parelheiros's goalkeeper Jonas Breckenfeld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If José Paulo Passos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute José Paulo Passos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wanderson Félix saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bezerrinha's Márcio Baiano got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Márcio Baiano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Juan Breckenfeld came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Parelheiros fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Juan Breckenfeld couldn't finish the play. Parelheiros succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Bezerrinha had controlled the match.
