With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augusto Pereira prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Barracao SS's Jaime Chaves in the 11th minute got a chance for a shot 11th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Rape FC's goalie prevented a goal. Through an outstanding action, after 12 minutes, Augusto Pereira successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Augusto Pereira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Wágner Fontes's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Pedro Luiz Fernandez hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Augusto Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Chaves, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. When Pedro Luiz Fernandez fell near the penalty area in the 26th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Rape FC's protests and gave Pedro Luiz Fernandez a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Barracao SS booed when Rape FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pedro Luiz Fernandez didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 28th minute, Rodolfo Sabóia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Zeca Cruz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes, Rape FC's Danilo Guedes shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Flávio do Vale came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rape FC reached it. In the 36thth minute of the game Zeca Cruz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Barracao SS's Flávio do Vale was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 38th minute, Zeca Cruz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Rape FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 42 minutes into the match, Barracao SS's goal looked a bit too open when Zeca Cruz came free, but Flávio do Vale reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Carlos da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio do Vale having to interfere. Rodolfo Sabóia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Augusto Pereira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Jaime Chaves stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. João Carlos da Silva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Flávio do Vale having to interfere. Rodolfo Sabóia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augusto Pereira having to interfere.
