Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Cido Xavier made the kick off which started today's match. When Eusébio Corrêa came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Urucania fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eusébio Corrêa couldn't finish the play. Eusébio Corrêa charged in rather forcefully in the 4th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusébio Corrêa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Igarapeassu AD booed when Urucania was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eusébio Corrêa didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cido Xavier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Adelino Pinho having to make a save. After having played for 11 minutes, Cido Xavier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Urucania's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cido Xavier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Eusébio Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Adelino Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Adelino Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Xavier in the 16th minute of play. Cido Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Telmo Hermes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Germano do Nascimento having to interfere. Adelino Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Xavier in the 25th minute of play. Eusébio Corrêa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Adelino Pinho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zé Roberto Freitas received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Germano do Nascimento tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cido Xavier took the ball and in the 42 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Adelino Pinho. Adelino Pinho dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Cido Xavier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Telmo Hermes stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Urucania defense, Beto Sampaio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Germano do Nascimento. The Urucania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Germano do Nascimento should have stopped the shot. Cido Xavier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Adelino Pinho read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 57th minute of play. 60 minutes into the game, Urucania's Eusébio Corrêa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Adelino Pinho made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. 69 minutes into the match, Urucania's goal looked a bit too open when Telmo Hermes came free, but Germano do Nascimento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 73 minutes into the match, Igarapeassu AD's goalkeeper Adelino Pinho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eusébio Corrêa. Cido Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Adelino Pinho made an important save on a dangerous shot by Eusébio Corrêa in the 83rd minute. After 89 minutes, Zé Pedro Souza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Urucania and the Igarapeassu AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 89th minute, Zé Pedro Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Zé Roberto Freitas in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Germano do Nascimento saved Urucania from getting behind. Adelino Pinho made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cido Xavier in the 95th minute of play. Cido Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
