Dino Mandrak made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dudu Koehler in the 6th minute of play. Dino Mandrak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dudu Koehler in the 11th minute of the match. Claudinei Teles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Secco having to interfere. Rui Secco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudinei Teles, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. In the 19th match minute, Emburrado was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Genílson Brito to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dito Travassos got free with Rui Secco in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After some careless play in the Pochica defense, Hélder Marquez kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Dino Mandrak. The Pochica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Dino Mandrak should have stopped the shot. Dito Travassos in the 25thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Rui Secco, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Rui Secco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nelsinho Gonçalves in the 29th minute of play. 32 minutes into the match, Emburrado's goalkeeper Rui Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dito Travassos. Emburrado's supporters crossed their fingers, but Genílson Brito was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Dino Mandrak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dudu Koehler, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 45th minute, Aluísio Alvarenga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dino Mandrak showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hélder Marquez, who was totally free with the ball in the 47th minute. 48 minutes into the match, Emburrado's goalkeeper Rui Secco had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nelsinho Gonçalves. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

56 minutes into the match, Emburrado's goal looked a bit too open when Claudinei Teles came free, but Rui Secco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With an all-out effort, Emburrado's Dino Mandrak threw himself towards the right post 58 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Hélder Marquez, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Hélder Marquez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Dino Mandrak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dudu Koehler succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-2 in the 63rd playminute. In the 69th minute Dito Travassos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Secco saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Hélder Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 72 minutes into the match, Pochica's goalkeeper Dino Mandrak had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Dudu Koehler. A very good chance. 87 minutes into the game, Robinho Lopes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Emburrado's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pochica the free kick. A collision led to Emburrado getting a freekick after 87 minutes play. Robinho Lopes hit a great ball. If Claudinei Teles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Hélder Marquez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dino Mandrak saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Emburrado players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
