Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Luisinho Vergílio got the match started through his kick off. Alfredão das Neves's late challenge caught a Sarauna FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfredão das Neves helped the player get up and apologised. Washington Abraão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luiz Fábio Paes having to interfere. Washington Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Washington Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarauna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Doni Amaral charged in rather forcefully in the 14th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Doni Amaral the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 14 played minutes Sarauna FC got a freekick which was hit by Doni Amaral. Manoel do Nascimento recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 17th minute of the match Edgar Barral shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Sílvio Luís Baptista showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. 18 minutes into the game, Delfim Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sarauna FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Anajazal EC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Sarauna FC's Delfim Quintal got a free kick in the 18th minute. An unexpected shot in the 21st minute by Washington Abraão got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Luisinho Vergílio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience thought a goal was coming when Washington Abraão got free with Luiz Fábio Paes in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sílvio Luís Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel do Nascimento in the 31st minute of the match. With a little luck, Anajazal EC's Luiz Fábio Paes got control of the ball when Washington Abraão tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute of the match, Luisinho Vergílio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Luiz Fábio Paes saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. If Robinho da Fonseca had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Manoel do Nascimento's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sílvio Luís Baptista read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. After 61 played minutes Anajazal EC got a freekick which was hit by Percy Couto. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Washington Abraão managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sarauna FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Washington Abraão was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Luiz Fábio Paes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 63 minutes, Percy Couto mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Anajazal EC and the Sarauna FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. When Norberto Koehler fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Anajazal EC's protests and gave Norberto Koehler a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Anajazal EC's Norberto Koehler got a free kick in the 67th minute. When Washington Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Sarauna FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Washington Abraão couldn't finish the play. Washington Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sílvio Luís Baptista showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel do Nascimento in the 73rd minute of the match. In the 77th minute, Robinho da Fonseca left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Anajazal EC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Sílvio Luís Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel do Nascimento in the 82nd minute of play. Manoel do Nascimento fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sílvio Luís Baptista having to interfere. Anajazal EC's Norberto Koehler suffered a sore thigh after 89 minutes and couldn't finish the game. When Ramón Massa fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sarauna FC's protests and gave Ramón Massa a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Sarauna FC's Ramón Massa got a free kick in the 90th minute. Sarauna FC's Sílvio Luís Baptista proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 94th minute of the match, managed to save Sarauna FC from getting a goal against them. After having played for 96 minutes, Robinho da Fonseca managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Anajazal EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Robinho da Fonseca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Anajazal EC walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
