The supporters of Burity SC booed when Jerico AD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robinho Lopes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Washington Maciel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Juan Sena tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Erivaldo Vidal's late challenge caught a Burity SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Erivaldo Vidal helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Jerico AD's Erivaldo Vidal got a free kick in the 12th minute. Juan Sena made a fantastic save in the 17th minute, when Washington Maciel sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Aluísio Amorim in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Juan Sena saved Jerico AD from getting behind. Dalmo Antunes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Sena in the 32nd minute of play. 39 minutes into the match, Burity SC's goal looked a bit too open when William Sena came free, but Dalmo Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Juan Sena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aluísio Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. After having played for 46 minutes, Wiliam Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jerico AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Wiliam Saraiva was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Wiliam Saraiva managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jerico AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Wiliam Saraiva was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dalmo Antunes breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Egídio do Vale during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The audience was convinced that Aluísio Amorim's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Juan Sena was relentless in the 79th minute of the game. Erivaldo Vidal got his second yellow card in the match during the 80th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. A collision led to Jerico AD getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Burity SC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
