Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Pepital SS's Rafa Mandrak started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute, José Vítor Leme got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. José Vítor Leme received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Ricardo Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, José Vítor Leme managed to get in a good position for a shot. Catrimani's supporters rose to their feet, but José Vítor Leme was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardo Botelho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 12thth minute of the game Waldir Ortiz who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pepital SS's Ricardo Botelho was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Pepital SS's Horácio Ferraz got a free kick in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute, Waldir Ortiz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ricardo Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from José Vítor Leme, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Rafa Mandrak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 1-0 when João Bastos sped through Catrimani's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Emerson Arantes. Ricardo Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from José Vítor Leme, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. José Vítor Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardo Botelho having to interfere. When João Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 49th minute, the Pepital SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that João Bastos couldn't finish the play. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 55th minute, Horácio Ferraz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ricardo Botelho was a little too slow when Waldir Ortiz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 59th minute. The score was now 1-1. 64 minutes into the match, Pepital SS's goalkeeper Ricardo Botelho had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir Ortiz. After some careless play in the Catrimani defense, Rafa Mandrak kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emerson Arantes. The Catrimani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emerson Arantes should have stopped the shot. Waldir Ortiz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ricardo Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ricardo Botelho made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Waldir Ortiz sent off a good shot on target. If Waldir Ortiz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Catrimani's goal looked a bit too open when João Bastos came free, but Emerson Arantes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. João Bastos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Vítor Leme had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Catrimani's zone, João Bastos stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Emerson Arantes came out of the goal and João Bastos tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When José Vítor Leme came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Catrimani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that José Vítor Leme couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 98 minutes, Ricardo Botelho successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Pepital SS were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Catrimani for a fine match.
