With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wellington Medeiros in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Beto Silveira saved Japiim from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Andreza AD fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 20th minute. Penalty! 1-0 came through a penalty shot after 21 played minutes, when Japiim:s Ciro Diniz calmly waited for Andreza AD:s goalkeeper to move before he rolled in the ball by the right post. Thiago Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Marcus Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Luiz Paulo Marinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Beto Silveira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doni Valadares to strike the kick off in the second half. The Japiim supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Andreza AD's performance. The match ended with a win for Andreza AD.
