Andreza AD's Thiago Seco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silas dos Santos in the 6th minute of play. Ipuacu SS's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Wellington Medeiros 13 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Armindo Trancoso recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 18 minutes, Silas dos Santos managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ipuacu SS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Silas dos Santos was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 21st minute of the match, Wellington Medeiros tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Reinaldo Pitta saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Luiz Paulo Marinho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 33rd minute, Marquinhos Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a little luck, Ipuacu SS's Reinaldo Pitta got control of the ball when Vágner Massa tried to sneak it across the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

When Toninho Brito fell near the penalty area in the 56th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ipuacu SS's protests and gave Toninho Brito a yellow card for diving instead. Toninho Brito kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Reinaldo Pitta was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Luiz Paulo Marinho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. Reinaldo Pitta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wellington Medeiros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Wellington Medeiros came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Andreza AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wellington Medeiros couldn't finish the play.
