Walmyr Seco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ademir Mazza in the 52nd minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Chile SS's Tibúrcio Varela sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Walmyr Seco narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 59 minutes into the game, Ademir Mazza cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Walmyr Seco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After a defensive mix-up in Cantinho's zone, Ademir Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Seco came out of the goal and Ademir Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chile SS booed when Cantinho was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raúl Trancoso didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 83rd minute, Léo Lira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 84th minute of the match Luiz Guilherme Freire shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Walmyr Seco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 85th match minute, Cantinho was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Raúl Trancoso to maneuver through the defense. Walmyr Seco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ademir Mazza in the 89th minute of the match. In the 91st match minute, Chile SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hílton Rossi to maneuver through the defense. Cantinho's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
