Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Allan Jacinto took the kick off in the first half of the match. Celso Tasso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Walmyr Seco tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Cantinho defense, Filipe Lago kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Walmyr Seco. The Cantinho fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Walmyr Seco should have stopped the shot. After having played for 19 minutes, Fábio Romero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Fábio Romero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the Quilombo defense, Fábio Romero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Narciso de Mendonça. The Quilombo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Narciso de Mendonça should have stopped the shot. After having played for 25 minutes, Belmiro Moura managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cantinho's supporters crossed their fingers, but Belmiro Moura was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Fábio Romero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Narciso de Mendonça having to interfere. If Belmiro Moura had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 32 minutes into the match, Cantinho's goal looked a bit too open when Allan Jacinto came free, but Walmyr Seco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Filipe Lago fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Walmyr Seco having to interfere. Walmyr Seco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Allan Jacinto, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. When Belmiro Moura came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Cantinho fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Belmiro Moura couldn't finish the play. Mathias Linares hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute Quilombo were awarded a corner. Gino Lopes went to the cornerflag to take it. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

José Carlos Pitta hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 57th minute of the match, Filipe Lago got a very nice opportunity to score, but Walmyr Seco was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Allan Jacinto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Cantinho got a freekick which was hit by Raúl Trancoso. Quilombo's Narciso de Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Romero in the 71st minute of play. If Allan Jacinto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Belmiro Moura in the 86th minute of play forced Quilombo's goalkeeper Narciso de Mendonça to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Walmyr Seco made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Filipe Lago sent off a good shot on target.
