In the 15th minute, Ipueira's Charles Fernandez ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Davi Cardoso. Davi Cardoso yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. After having played for 20 minutes, Laerte Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Piranguassu's supporters crossed their fingers, but Laerte Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Hamílton Duarte fell near the penalty area in the 23rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Piranguassu's protests and gave Hamílton Duarte a yellow card for diving instead. After 23 played minutes Piranguassu got a freekick which was hit by Hamílton Duarte. When Wágner Vinhas fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ipueira's goalkeeper Richard Lopez, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Piranguassu's Davi Cardoso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Charles Fernandez in the 70th minute of play. When Charles Fernandez, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 76 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Davi Cardoso was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Richard Lopez was a little too slow when Vitinho Paraense got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 79th minute. The score was now 1-2. 85 minutes into the match, Piranguassu's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Fernandez came free, but Davi Cardoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 89th minute the ball was on its way in behind Piranguassu's goalkeeper Davi Cardoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Hamílton Duarte struck a weak shot in the 91st minute. Richard Lopez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Piranguassu.
