Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Manoel Vieira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After having played for 2 minutes, Ricardinho Vieira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mapangapa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ricardinho Vieira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manoel Vieira in the 5th minute of play forced Mapangapa's goalkeeper João Pedro Neiva to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute Régis Xavier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Régis Xavier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Pedro Neiva showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Manoel Vieira in the 12th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Itaipava's zone, Edgar Moreira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fellipe Cavalcante came out of the goal and Edgar Moreira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tiaguinho Perez's late challenge caught a Itaipava's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tiaguinho Perez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Itaipava booed when Mapangapa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tiaguinho Perez didn't get a good kick on the ball. João Pedro Neiva showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Manoel Vieira, who was totally free with the ball in the 20th minute. When Edgar Moreira came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Mapangapa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Edgar Moreira couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ricardinho Vieira in the 22nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Fellipe Cavalcante prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Edgar Moreira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fellipe Cavalcante having to interfere. Manoel Vieira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 32 played minutes, Itaipava's Vicente Lima shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper João Pedro Neiva came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Itaipava reached it. In the 39th minute, Mapangapa's Ricardinho Vieira ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fellipe Cavalcante. Fellipe Cavalcante yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. In the 44th minute Manoel Vieira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Neiva saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 47 minutes into the match, Basílio Marquez sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Fellipe Cavalcante threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Basílio Marquez this time. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ricardinho Vieira made the kick off in the second half. Manoel Vieira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Mapangapa's goalkeeper João Pedro Neiva had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Régis Xavier. João Pedro Neiva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Régis Xavier in the 55th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Manoel Vieira in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg João Pedro Neiva saved Mapangapa from getting behind. In a very dangerous position, a player in Mapangapa fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 64th minute. Penalty! João Pedro Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 73rd match minute, Mapangapa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jarbas Arósio to maneuver through the defense. In the 74th minute of the match Edgard Gonçalves sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but João Pedro Neiva skillfully saved the ball. If Régis Xavier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Edgar Moreira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fellipe Cavalcante tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. João Pedro Neiva took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manoel Vieira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Itaipava walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
