Víktor Leme made an important save on a dangerous shot by Victor Pereira in the 10th minute. Vivaldo Tasso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laerte Pimenta, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. 19 minutes into the game, Franklin Freire recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Víktor Leme. Franklin Freire showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 23rd minute, Laerte Pimenta ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vivaldo Tasso was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Reuniao's zone, Caio Meirelles stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vivaldo Tasso came out of the goal and Caio Meirelles tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 27th minute, Cauan Vale hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Víktor Leme made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Victor Pereira sent off a good shot on target. In the 33rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Janauba's goalkeeper Víktor Leme, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Janauba's zone, Victor Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Víktor Leme came out of the goal and Victor Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caio Meirelles received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Vivaldo Tasso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

60 minutes into the game, Reuniao's Victor Pereira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Víktor Leme made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. After 63 played minutes Janauba got a freekick which was hit by João Pedro Cerezo. The supporters of Reuniao booed when Janauba was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Pedro Cerezo didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Victor Pereira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Reuniao's supporters rose to their feet, but Victor Pereira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Víktor Leme breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Víktor Leme made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Franklin Freire in the 70th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet as Laerte Pimenta kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Vivaldo Tasso. That made the score 2-2 in the 76 minute of play. Zé Pedro Brasil kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. The supporters of Janauba booed when Reuniao was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 87 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cauan Vale didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 88th minute, Oswaldo das Neves sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Reuniao's Vivaldo Tasso didn't even have to move. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Laerte Pimenta in the 91st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Vivaldo Tasso saved Reuniao from getting behind. Vivaldo Tasso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Laerte Pimenta in the 94th minute of the match. Laerte Pimenta sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
