With his leg Alfredão Lima managed to avoid a goal in the 30thth minute, when Bacre AD's Maurício Montenegro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Maurício Montenegro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfredão Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Caco Passos's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. After 38 minutes, Yan Prado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bacre AD and the Parana EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Yan Prado kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, André Luís Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Custódio Moura was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. If Maurício Montenegro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The supporters of Bacre AD booed when Parana EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Moreno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fernando Moreno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio Moura having to interfere. Benjamim do Vale in the 71stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Custódio Moura, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Caco Passos managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bacre AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Passos was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Alfredão Lima breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. André Luís Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Custódio Moura having to interfere. Bacre AD's Custódio Moura played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by André Luís Palmeira in the 80th minute of play. 84 minutes into the match, Bacre AD's Caco Passos sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Alfredão Lima narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Caco Passos in the 92nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alfredão Lima saved Parana EC from getting behind. Parana EC's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
