Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cayua FC's Noel de Amorim started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Jairo de Andrade who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 4thth minute tested the skills of Betão Recife when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Valdo Valle in the 9th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Betão Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Valdo Valle came up free with the goalie in the 11th minute, the Tupana fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdo Valle couldn't finish the play. After having played for 15 minutes, Valdo Valle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tupana's supporters crossed their fingers, but Valdo Valle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Betão Recife took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valdo Valle, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 19 minutes into the match, Noel de Amorim notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Tupana's José Pedro da Rocha. José Pedro da Rocha was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 30 minutes into the game, Juan Fernandes was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Cayua FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Tupana the free kick. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Valdo Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Norberto Penha hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Tupana's zone, Norberto Penha stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. José Pedro da Rocha came out of the goal and Norberto Penha tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 65 minutes into the match, Cayua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Jairo de Andrade came free, but Betão Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 66 minutes into the match, Tupana's Valdo Valle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Betão Recife narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Jairo de Andrade had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 73 minutes into the match, Cayua FC's goal looked a bit too open when Valdo Valle came free, but Betão Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The tension between the Cayua FC and the Tupana players grew even worse after the yellow card. Noel de Amorim kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. If Kauã Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valdo Valle in the 94th minute of play forced Cayua FC's goalkeeper Betão Recife to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. José Pedro da Rocha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Noel de Amorim, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. The Tupana supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Cayua FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Cayua FC.
