Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Sandro Terra took the kick off in the first half of the match. Manolo das Neves showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Amauri Valle in the 8th minute of the match. 9 minutes into the match, Cocamora SC's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Valle came free, but Manolo das Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Eliézer Motta had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cesinha Barbosa hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. In the 17th minute, Eliézer Motta got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Alan Simão hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. If Amauri Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Valle in the 24th minute of play forced Cocamora SC's goalkeeper Manolo das Neves to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gino Saldanha stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandro Terra's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. 26 minutes into the match, Cocamora SC's Anselmo Pimenta sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Gino Saldanha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Manolo das Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliézer Motta, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Otávio Fernandez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo das Neves having to interfere. When Anselmo Pimenta came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cocamora SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anselmo Pimenta couldn't finish the play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Amauri Valle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Amauri Valle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Amauri Valle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 0-1 became the score in the 59th minute when Amauri Valle elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Gino Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sandro Terra in the 63rd minute of play. Cocamora SC's Manolo das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Valle in the 67th minute of play. Eliézer Motta's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 69thth minute, Manolo das Neves skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Cacau SC's Gino Saldanha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandro Terra in the 76th minute of play. Anselmo Pimenta blasted a shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Gino Saldanha having to make a save. Gino Saldanha showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandro Terra, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Gino Saldanha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anselmo Pimenta in the 84th minute of play. Eliézer Motta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Manolo das Neves having to interfere. Cocamora SC's Anselmo Pimenta got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 94th minute, Sandro Terra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Cacau SC supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Cacau SC would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
