Spectators: 33 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Rubinho Pires got the match started through his kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jânio Hames during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 3 played minutes Torres FC got a freekick which was hit by Jânio Hames. In the 9th minute Rubinho Pires shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Andrézinho Vergílio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Torres FC's Andrézinho Vergílio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rubinho Pires in the 11th minute of play. In the 15th minute, Rubinho Pires reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Andrézinho Vergílio. The goal made the score 1-0. Tadeu Queirós fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Motta having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Ulisses Valle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canguinha fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. After 23 played minutes Canguinha got a freekick which was hit by Amílton Soares. Torres FC's Tadeu Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rubinho Pires struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Andrézinho Vergílio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canguinha. 42 minutes into the game, Canguinha's Ulisses Valle nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Andrézinho Vergílio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Conrado Schmidt's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but David Motta read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Tadeu Queirós was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Torres FC booed when Canguinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manfredo Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Canguinha defense, Conrado Schmidt kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of David Motta. The Canguinha fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that David Motta should have stopped the shot. 62 minutes into the match, Canguinha's goalkeeper David Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Schmidt. Conrado Schmidt could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 67th minute of the match, but David Motta made a huge save. David Motta made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Conrado Schmidt sent off a good shot on target. Ulisses Valle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Andrézinho Vergílio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Rubinho Pires had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 87 minutes into the match, Canguinha's goalkeeper David Motta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Schmidt. Torres FC's Tadeu Queirós got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Torres FC's Tadeu Queirós in the 90th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but David Motta was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Canguinha through an amazing save. Canguinha's David Motta played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeu Queirós in the 92nd minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Canguinha fans cheered their team off the field, for while Torres FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
