After 3 played minutes Campinarana AD got a freekick which was hit by Tomás de Amaral. Narciso Meirelles made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guga Paraibano in the 5th minute of play. Emílio Ramalho sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 21 minutes, Dedê Motta mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Juparana FC and the Campinarana AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. Dedê Motta hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. Romeu Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. Cássio Pirani sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 27th match minute, Campinarana AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tomás de Amaral to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Guga Paraibano in the 28th minute of play forced Campinarana AD's goalkeeper Narciso Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Alfredinho Cavalcante fell near the penalty area in the 32nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Campinarana AD's protests and gave Alfredinho Cavalcante a yellow card for diving instead. 32 minutes into the game, one of Campinarana AD:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Campinarana AD:s Narciso Meirelles showed great skill when he stopped Luiz Fernando Soeiro:s penalty. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tomás de Amaral during the 37th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 38 played minutes Campinarana AD got a freekick which was hit by Tomás de Amaral. Aloísio Braga spun around in front of the goal 39 minutes in the game, and got away a shot that, to his disappointment, went to the left of Campinarana AD's goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aloísio Braga to make the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aloísio Braga in the 59th minute of play forced Campinarana AD's goalkeeper Narciso Meirelles to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Juparana FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Luiz Fernando Soeiro hit a great ball. Narciso Meirelles made an important save on a dangerous shot by Guga Paraibano in the 67th minute. If Cássio Pirani had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Allan Leal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cássio Pirani in the 72nd minute of play. In the 74th match minute, Juparana FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anísio Correia to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Campinarana AD's Alfredão Luz tried to score from far away in the 75th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Romeu Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 78th minute of the match. Emílio Ramalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Allan Leal having to interfere. 82 minutes into the match, Juparana FC's goal looked a bit too open when Emílio Ramalho came free, but Allan Leal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Romeu Cruz kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. Cássio Pirani received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Allan Leal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guga Paraibano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 90th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Aloísio Braga received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Narciso Meirelles tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
